xMAP Technology Create New Product

Standards and Controls  To create a product that consists of standards and controls:

1. Click Create Product on the toolbar. The Create New Product

dialog box opens. See Figure 3. Any currently defined products

will be listed at the top of the dialog box

2. Click New to enter a new product into the system. The first time

you create a product the New button is grayed out.

3. Select Both.

4. Enter the Product Number, Product Name, and Manufacturer

Name for one of the product.

5. Enter the Number of Tests for this product and press Enter on

the keyboard. Each test represents an analyte (the bead ID for
